Hi everyone,

Ok i am gettting ready to file in the next day or so for the AOS stuff. These are the thing's i am filing for.

I-485(AOS) $325+$70 Finger print fee= $395

I-765(EAD) $180

G-325a NO FEE

I-864 NO FEE

Not applying for the I-131

So i have a total of $575

My question is are these fee's correct and do i send the fee all to........

U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services

P.O. Box 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

So for what i am filing for do i send $575 in one check to the above address??

Thanks for your help in advance and expect many more stupid question's over the next couple of days

07/14/06 AOS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! All in less than 3 months (that's unbeleivable)

4/26/08 Check cashed

4/28/08 NOA received

5/16/08 Attended Biometrics

9/12/08 Green Card arrived in mail :-)

2008-02-05 Sent I-751 to remove conditions

2008-02-11 I-751 received in Texas

2008-02-25 Check finally cashed!!

2008-03-19 Biometrics completed in West Palm Beach

2008-12-23 Rcvd notification of GC production

2008-12-30 Rcvd notification of confirmation letter going in the mail.

I seperated them into AOS (plus biometrics) and EAD and put money orders in envelopes for the correct amounts atached to the applications for each, because I thought I read somewhere that that was the best way to go, but if someone else has done just 1 check and been fine I am sure thats fine.

Timeline:

11-15-2005: Sent in I-129F to VSC

11-21-2005: NOA1

11-29-2005: NOA2

12-05-2005: NVC recieved

12-17-2005: Packet 3 received from Dublin

1-11-2006: Sent packet 3 forms, etc. to Dublin

2-03-2006: Interview Date :)APPROVED!!!

2-05-2006: Flying to Logan Airport

2-11-2006: Wedding Date

3-14-2006: Filed AOS and EAD

3-22-2006: NOA1 (AOS and EAD)

4-07-2006: Biometrics

6-07-2006: EAD approved!!

7-24-2006: AOS Interview APPROVED!!!

7-27-2006: Received Welcome to America letter

8-03-2006: Green Card Received :)

It is ok to send one check or split them up. I personally sent in 5 different checks and it all worked out fine. The advatage of sending in different checks is that they can cash them as they process the given application. However the down side is that they can lose one of the checks which would result in an RFE... So take your pick

July 12, 2006 - APPROVED!!!!

August 14, 2006 - Welcome to the US letter and I-130 approval received in the mail

August 15, 2006 - Permanent Resident Card received in the mail

yea. but I would have 2 check. one for $180 (I-765) and one for $395 (I-485).
