No...don't think it helps...although who knows....they aren't approving petitions, so there is a pretty good chance they are spending most of their day surfing the internet.

You cannot tell me that you've no sympathy for the exhausted workers. They also have families to go home to. Can you imagine the piles of petitions on each desk??? They have an alloted time of 15 minutes for processing each petition. Their break times are short. Some adjudicators have been skipping lunch...just trying to catch up...I know their job is not as easy as we may think. They are dedicated to assisting us with our petitions. We must allow them their rest time... :D:yes::D

No job is easy, it's your efficiency or lack there of that allows your job to be easy or hard. There is a procedure to follow in every work place, so there is no need to skip lunch. Are you trying to say that each person can process 130 cases per week ( 15 minutes per petition) are you sure your waiting on an approval? YOU sure don't sound too anxious to be with you SO. BTW they are not ASSISTING us they are doiung their jobs, that's what they get paid to do. :bonk::bonk:

I THINK THE BOTTOM LINE IS.. YOU PAID TO GET SOMETHING DONE.. IT'S LIKE PAYING SOMEBODY OR A COMPANY TO DO SOMETHING.. AND IT MUST BE DONE THE WAY THEY PROMISED OR CLAIMED... THEY GIVE YOU A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME THAT IT WILL BE DONE.. AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE..

WE ARE CUSTOMERS..AND CITIZENS.. THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!! LIKE IN OUR DAILY JOBS.. IF THERE IS A DEADLINE TO MEET..IT MUST BE MET.. USCIS is swamped with petitions HB-1 and K-1's, and its not the fault of the workers at the service centers, so we must just be patient.

I'm sure they are working hard under difficult conditions, not of their making. I think we all need to just stay positive and support eachother, we will get there.

I do understand the work load..but what I am so kinda mad is that the should not claim THAT THEY WILL PROCESS IT IN ORDER THEY HAVE RECEIVED. THEY RECEIVED A LOT OF CASES BEFORE THE INCREASE IN FEES.. AND THEY KNEW THIS A LOOOOONG WAY BACK. SO HOWCOME PEOPLE THAT FILED BACK IN JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH, APRIL..ARE STILL WAITING? THERE ARE SOME THAT ARE STILL WAITING.. WHILE OTHERS WHO FILED IN MAY, JULY, AND EVEN AUGUST HAVE APPROVALS ALREADY.. THIS IS THE ONLY THING THAT REALLY BOTHERS ME.. THEY INCREASE THEIR FEES BUT NOT THEIR SYSTEM OR THE WAY THEY HANDLE THINGS BACK THERE.. JUST MY TWO CENTS..

What sucks is that alot of the HB-1 petitions are fast tracked because companies pay an extra fee to USCIS so they can maintain/increase their work force. I would gladly pay an extra fee if my visa could be fast tracked. I agree with kits_24 _faith, the applications should be processed in the order they were received. No one is more important than anyone else when filing a visa petition

please stop shouting, Kits_24_Faith; it's giving me a headache ;)

they may well still be 'processing' petitions in the order in which they were received, but as some will take longer to finish processing than others, some will receive RFEs, etc, the finalising of the petitions may take longer... doesn't mean they're lying; just that processing thousands of the damn things simply can't happen in a perfectly linear fashion :)

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.
