New day, new name. :thumbs: I cannot tell you how liberating it feels to drop my last name from here.

To those of you that have stuck with me the last 2 months of craziness, thank you. I have gone thru and still going thru, depression, insomnia and a wicked little eating disorder that has left me able to drink liquids but not eat/swallow solid food. I have watched my pants size go from a 20 to a 14. My hair and skin are now suffering and I am taking steps to get help. I am slowly coming out of my daze and feeling better each day.

I would like to take this chance to announce my new yahoo group. This will be the first and last time I talk about it openly here in VJ. I will add a link to it thru my signature. The name is Jackies Corner and is a place for all women that are needing a place to go with doubts and pain, a place to vent and not face criticism or judgement. It is private and by email invite only. If you or someone you know is going thru a break-up, pm me with an email address and I will send out an invite. I hope to see NONE of you there, but this is reality and it is going to happen.

On a much happier note, I see alot of approvals, arrivals and movement in cases. Congrats to all of you.

I am going to Dearborn this weekend so I can look for jameed there. I've never used it before.

I'd be surprised if you found actual jameed in the store, but I'm sure you will find the liquid version. I have never used that before. The only way we have ever been able to get jameed is when people visit from Jordan. A small amount goes a long way. I will post my recipe in sultans kitchen using regular jameed, and if you get liquid you will just have to subsitute that part and follow the instruction on the package of how to make it, I think its concentrated.

Today is my love's birthday! Hicham is 34 today!!!!!

We (me and our son) called him first thing this morning so that we were the first to wish him Happy Birthday! Inshallah, this is the last birthday we'll be apart!!!!

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.

OMG this rocks! (you know you're an adult when you get excited about things to make LAUNDRY easier). I got it on the first try! Im going to take an extra shirt to work tomorrow just so I can show off my new trick! Much obliged!
