Any recent EADs at the Windsor / Detroit POE?

So after we get married, it may take them up to 90 days for that card?? I'm total confused here, but thats nothing new LOL. From what I know, we have 90 days to get married from the day I activate the visa. Does that mean with us waiting about a month and a half to file for an AOS, the visa will expire before I get that card? Do I also need to file an AOS for my son? I just saw on here last night that the fees went up and I'm looking at paying $1610 for us both? I'm sure the fees will always increase, but that won't stop no one. I guess it looks like I'll have some time on my hands waiting for everything once we get down there. I've been going down there almost 3 years now. I've been able to see him every few months and it's been great. I already know my way around everywhere. I just need to get a license. Thats another thing I have to worry about. I never did get my license here. I always said I was going to get it, but never did. Big mistake. So when I can get that once I'm there? Gawd, I'm going to have a million questions before we even move LOL. Its nice to know that theres so many helpful people here on VJ. Don't know what I'd do without it LOL. Thanks again Kathryn!!!

If your son is under 14, then yes, the combined fee for you two will be $1610. That's what I'm looking at for my wife and step-daughter to adjust once they are here, too.

We crossed at the Ambassador Bridge POE on Dec 27th, 2007, and they put the EAD stamp in the passport. We didn't even have to ask. However, the guy doing it was a little confused and had to ask the others "do we still do these, oh well, I'll just do it anyway."
