I am still hung up in the 70s and 80s so love Pink Floyd, ELP, Alana Miles, Heart, Da Stones, Neil Young, Stevie Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ten Years AFter (Gotta love the guitar of Alvin Lee), Black Oak Arkansas, Santana and a band that opened for Neil Young......Social Distortion. Don't forget the country stuff either like Willie Nelson George Straight and then the Traveling Wilburys. Wow, too bad Roy died so young!

Maybe you've already listened to them, but I suggest The Killers. Especially their last album Sam's Town.

Try this one Brother Dean. From what I understand she has been around for a while in the UK but she is new to me. I just got her two latest albums. I think she is great.

She's been around for quite a while here too. If I hear that song one more time on the radio, I might scream!

I'm not really into any of the new music out there. I have resorted back to my youth and only want to listen to the stuff I grew up with and stuff I loved during my punk days. But I do like this guy:

Dianna Krall is really good. I'm a Pat Metheny fan...especially PMG (which is a little bit different than his other stuff). Evanessence is awesome. Amy Lee is the lead singer, and she has an incredible voice. An all time favourite is Blue Rodeo.

Well Brother Dean, as we get older, music with energy helps to keep you feeling young. Then again, I have always listened to this style of music, with a few lighter choices for balance. I am actually a die hard Moody Blues fan!

Brother!!! :luv: I've been a die-hard Moodies fan for years, myself. Out of curiousity, do you have a favorite album or song? Depending on my mood, I best like On the Threshold of a Dream or (and I'm told I'm very odd for liking this album at all) Strange Times. Guess I just like everything. Got to see them in concert a few years ago and it was quite a fun experience.

To the OP, have you tried Franz Ferdinand? Kind of post-punk weird fun stuff. Not my usual genre but it's actually pretty catchy stuff. :)

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

AWESOME! I love the Moody Blues and that's about all I listen to. The other group that I am hung up on is Pulp. They are very good too. It's nice to meet another Moody Blues fan and I wish that I could have seen them in person.
