vaccination /immunization

i heard here that it is a requirement to have a record of immunization. Can you tell us what vaccinations/immunzations are needed. I had immunizations before but no record coz it was done in center and in school.

It depends on the country you are in, but my husband had to get...MMR (measels, mumphs rhubella), Hep a and b, rabies (haha just kidding), There were a few others too. The NVC sends all that information out with the last packet.

mumps, measels, rubella, polio, tetanus and diphtheria toxoids, pertussis, influenza b, hep B, varicella, pneumococcal and influenza.

Well, Im from Germany and the influenza b, also called hib, is just available if you are a child.

They will give you vaccination depending on your age bracket. If you do not have any record, you have to tell the attending Physician so that He/She knows what kind of vaccination that is supposed to be given to you. :)

you won't need all of them because a bunch depend on the country of origin. I will post the required vacc's for Germany as soon as I get the paperwork from the consulate.

My husband just went to our local surgery yesterday and had the MMR and a TD. We are in the UK so he didn't get the chicken pox vax as it is not available here (plus he had it when he was 14 so there was no need)
