Hello

My hubby got letter for EAD biometrics (don't understand why...its a renewal...did his fingerprint from last year expire??) for Oct 5, a Friday. That is his last day of training in Arizona, and he is due back in NC on the 9th. We are trying to figure out what to do...our letter says if we need to reschedule we have to send in original letter (that makes me so nervous! what if it gets lost???) and wait for a new date, which might be just as inoportune as the first.

Anybody have experience with walking in to the Charlotte office to ask for a change, or what about the posibility of him taking letter in to office in Phoenix wher his in training, before the real appointment?

Thanks for the advice.

I dropped into their office before my appointment date on the off-chance they'd take me. They did.

When we needed to reschedule the biometrics we just went to the address shown in the notice hoping they could reschedule our appointment for a later date. We were told we could do the biometrics right there and then and not have to reschedule!! Two weeks earlier than scheduled!

Update:

I scaned the letter and e-mailed it to him. He went on Saturday to the office in Phoenix, and was seen without waiting, with only a copy of letter. No problems!

Thanks for all your advice!!
