Utility Bills For I-751

Hi all:

My telephone bill and electric bill are ONLY in my name sinece neither utility will issue in joint names, they told me they must be issued in only 1 name.

I do have cell telephone bill that I got issued in joint names and will submit these.

What's a person to do!

Wow, thats too bad. SCE added Claudeth to our utility bill once I gave them her social security number.

Some VJers submitted bills in the name of the USC spouse (only) and bills in the name of the immigrant spouse (only) just to show that both are residing in (and are being billed at) the same address.

In our case, we only had our power bill under both our names as the water, cable and phone companies would not add me. However, I did add other joint statements like car insurance, triple A renewal and joint credit card bills.

We have the phone and dsl bill under my name, electricity and car insurance under hubby's name... I sent those bills and highlighted the names and addresses in both of them so they would see it matches...

As others have said, you can send utility bills even though they're under just your name or your wife's, they still show the same address.

Or, (just one more thought) we had some utilities that couldn't put both names on the bills, so what we did was have it listed under just one us, then have C/O both of us...does it make any sense?

For example, the bill would read like:

Husband's name

C/O Husband & Wife's names

Address

[Marilyn. 340]

i sent in other bills too , like Netflix and Sirius etc..... all the bills and utilities didn't have both our names but I think I sent in a pretty good mixture...

I finallly got some sympathetic bozo at our local power company to change the bill to:

My name

c/o Wifes name

Address

Its done, its finished its complete (or so they say .... should appear on my next statement in 2 weeks)!
