my husband was out of job for a month and had been working for more than 2 weeks now. can i just submit his 2 recent weekly paystubs plus the employment letter certificate from his current employer stating his salary and no of working hrs. by the way, he earns an annual income 3x the required poverty guideline. also, is it necessary to submit other proofs for his assets like property, investment each. thanks for the info

This will be fine, If you read the instructions included with I-864, only IRS return data is required, pay stubs and employer letter is optional. Asset data is not required if income exceeds 125% poverty line.

Simple IRS transcripts are specified and can be ordered from the IRS for free.

Please do a timeline, your profile shows K-1 not AOS Pending, and timeline makes no indication of status, so all I can do is assume that this question pertains to adjustment of status by forum that you posted it in, but the question could very well apply to the K-1 visa that your profile indicates.

thanks for the quick ans. i was wondering if you know what is 1099s someon got RFE together with the W2s. i am just about ready to submit my AOS today and i was wondering if i have the right docs like the W2s and Income Tax REturn (form 1040) of my husband for the past 3 years. thanks again

A person may or may not have 1099 forms, I got 1 last year from a company that I did some part time work for. Most will have W2 forms from employers.

The easiest thing to do is order Simple tax transcripts from the IRS they are free, and are accepted in place or (Copies of 1040 and (W2 and/or 1099))
