Thank you all so much! I think I haven't slept as well as I did this morning ever since we started this paperwork in April!

I'm about to head to work for the afternoon, lol. I just called my boss and he said they were laughing about my email in the office this morning but I don't know why, it's probably full of typos.

I called Ramy again while I was driving to work (hands-free headset, no worries ) and he told me that when the CO said "Congratulations and have a beautiful wedding" he told her she was invited! She laughed a lot, he said. I told him I'm not surprised because he is an awful flirt and always has been, hell in high school he would flirt w/ teachers 3 times our age

He also forgot to correct the spelling of my last name that NVC entered in their system wrong.....I told him it's ok, as punishment I'll just take his name. He said it was spelled correctly in everything he saw at the embassy and gave them a certified copy of my birth cert. so maybe they took initiative and corrected it w/out him telling them to?

Forgot to mention: Ramy says in the room he was waiting in there were signs all over the place that said not to show evidence unless its asked for--she didn't ask to see our pictures or phone bills, emails, correspondence, nothing. He had a ton of it too in a huge suit case...I used to write him letters between classes and once he returned to Egypt I wrote him at least a letter a day, so he has hundreds upon hundreds of them, just in case...he even had a pamphlet from where we want to get married if he gets here soon enough (the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, MA--anyone ever been there? Doodle? any New Englanders? It's beautiful in October...and free to get married on the bridge so long as you notify the local fire dept!!!) But he didn't have to show a single thing. He offered to, but she said it was ok in a short tone like he was doing too much. lol
