Question on case complete

Hi,

The NVC recieved my ds230 on august 29th and I still haven't heard anything about the case being completed. I have submitted all the documents that they needed and I know that there is nothing missing. It has been two week, when can I expect to hear "case complete" on their automated system? If I call them up and talk to the operator whould they let me know when the case will be completed or will they just tell me to wait?

I would guess any day now! Just keep calling the automated message daily. They will update it that way. When a case complete occurs it is updated right away vs. the usual Monday late night message updates for the other items.

The only scenario I can think of is what happened to Mononoke and Saywhat.

They had the DS-230 and I-864 received by the NVC and it stated to them that the "checklist is complete and is being reviewed" or something like that.

In my case, I had that "NVC has found missing information...a letter has been sent...". That pretty much stayed (well I stopped calling for a week) until I rang and heard that happy "NVC has completed your case..." message.

Yeah, in this case I think that we are too getting a "checklist is complete and is being reviewed"-message, since our I-864 packet has been done for over a month now, so the only thing that they do miss is DS-230 (which we sent out) so after they have entered that into the system, their message will likely change ones again. Yes, in my case it said "The NVC has received the Checklist letter response on Aug.20th,2007, please allow six to eight weeks for review". Ten days after,

CASE COMPLETE message. You're almost there.
