One of the main reasons why I hate long distance relationship!

Well, I was thinking today about all the little things Dave does for me, all these little romantic gestures that make my day brighter..... and I realized that I haven't done that for him recently. I call him when he's not expecting, send cute messages, pictures, wake up early to wish him a good day before he goes to work and stuff like that. But I feel like little surprises and gestures are SO limited because of this distance between us. I'd love to be able to cook his favorite meal, rent his favorite movie, put a note in his wallet and on and on and on.... but I just can't!

And the strange thing is that he still does that kinda stuff for me somehow! He surprises me a little everyday... I guess he's just more creative.

I wish I could think of something nice and doable.... he deserves it.

I hate (but need) Yahoo!!!! If it were not for video and mic chatting I don't know what to do! But Yahoo is SOOOOO unstable and locks up so much that I hate it!!!

I hate not being able to cuddle, hug, kiss, etc. As well as the little things as seeing his smile, being able to sit together at home and watch a movie, or just knowing he's in the next room or something.

I miss all of the things that go with a relationship. LD makes it so you rely on the communication aspect of the relationship with is great, but it is the little things that make it so wonderful, like recieving or sending a card a day. I can't wait till we are together forever and have that touching, feeling, kissing and all that goes with it. Some days are worse than others for missing him, but we do talk and chat on Yahoo, and yes it is so unstable at times that it makes it even more frustrating, but it is something for now. But hey going to be a great Easter since my SO will be here on Thursday to spend it with me, the only problem is it is like a tease for a few days here and there, but I will take what I can get for now.

agreed! Biggest reason for hating the long distance thingy. Also going to bed alone, no one to snuggle on the couch with late at night, and me and my fiance LOVE playing cards, and now i have no one to play cards with

I remember when Keith and I were still in long distance. I had gone away for three days with a bunch of kids at my church for a camp weekend. I hadnt talked to him on the phone for those three days and missed him so much. I remember getting back to the church and everyone was hugging and kissing their husbands\wives, parents because they hadnt seen them in three days... I, on the other hand, had to wait until I got home and use a phone. I was so depressed.
