Hi,

The NVC recieved my ds230 on august 29th and I still haven't heard anything about the case being completed. I have submitted all the documents that they needed and I know that there is nothing missing. It has been two week, when can I expect to hear "case complete" on their automated system? If I call them up and talk to the operator whould they let me know when the case will be completed or will they just tell me to wait?

Thanks for your help

I know it's difficult to have patience in these circumstances. I gotta tell you that last time I spoke to an operator she told me that the automated system is not always up to date and that the live operators can give you more information. If you're really concerned, doesn't hurt to call and speak to a live operator. At least then you'll have some peace of mind.

we got case complete on the auto system as soon as it happened.. august 17th

then you get a letter confirming that

then they stick you in a black hole at the embassy and refuse to talk to you

we have heard nothing except a chirpy chappy at the DOS in washington says we are 'all set'

I wish their monthly salaries were'all set' to the same extent
