Thanks again for everyones amazingly helpful posts and speedy replies. I do however, have a few more questions.

1) In regards to the K1 interview, i thought both appilcants had to be present. Or is it just the beneficiary?

2) what extactly does the co-sponsor need to include in the packet? Do they need to include theyre tax returns? I am asking because my fiance is going to ask his father to so-sponsor us, but would like to have all the information before he does.

Thank you :)

Hi

It is only the beneficiary that is required to be present during the interview for the K-1 Visa, even if you do go, you are not going to be allowed inside, I believe. I also do believe that joint sponsors should include their tax forms, but the joint sponsor papers don't come until you are further in the visa process.

1. In the majority of cases only the beneficiary who is the applicant for the visa is required to attend the interview. A few like both to attend and some others will allow the fiance (petitioner) to be present if they wish to be.

2. The joint sponsor has the same requirements to submit supporting documents etc with the affidavit of support as the sponsor does.
