Isn't every great singer / songwriter Canadien ? Sarah reminds me of today's version of Joni Mitchell, and she, of course is Canadien. God Bless the true north strong and free !

LOVE Gordie Sampson!I would humbly add Jann Arden, Ron Sexsmith, and Sarah Harmer to the list of amazing Canadian songwriters -- oh and the boys from The Tragically Hip and Gordon Lightfoot and Neil Young, the grand masters. :)

So many great Canadian musicians and bands! I'll add a few of my faves to the list of canadians to love:

Rush (TracyTN's favorite!)

Great Big Sea (my favorite), Blue Rodeo, Bare Naked Ladies, Spirit of the West, 54-40

And harkening back to some now-defunct but still great bands - Moxxy Fruvous and The Pursuit of Happiness.

Gotta love the Canadian music!!!

I love Jann Arden- I haven't seen her live- her tickets always sold fast. I did see her in the ####### Monologues and she was fantastic.

I am taking Mel to see the Tragically Hip in October- they are playing the House of Blues in New Orleans. I am excited to see them. I am curious if they will play New Orleans is sinking.
