The glass-and-steel horseshoe extending 70 feet beyond the edge of teh Grand Canyon and 4,000 feet above the canyon floor is about 90 miles west of the national park, and about 120 miles east of Las Vegas. It is accessed via a 14-mile-long unpaved, graded road; or via Park and Ride by reservations: 702-260-6505. There are no private vehicles within the Grand Canyon West points of interest. A hop-on, hop-off shuttle operates in the area every 10-15 minutes. A Spirit entrance package, $49.95 + tax, is required and includes an entire day of activities, performances and lunch. To walk on the Skywalk is an additional $25. Arrive erly in the day to take full advantage of all that is offered.

Wow, I think I will stick with the north and south rims :P
