Anyone that lives in Illinois and has Ameren knows that the rates doubled Jan 1. The stated legislature has passed a rate relief bill and help is on the way. I just checked on http://www.ameren.com and find that I will be getting a $208 rebate check! :dance: Anyone else that lives in Illinois needs to check the web site to see what your getting back!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

.06665/kWh. And a distribution delivery charge of .02596/kWh.

Wow, that's not a bad rate - last month ours was .09946 on the first 811 kwh and .11283 on the balance.

Total bill (which includes water/sewer) was $ 271.26

0.059633 and a distrib charge of 0.03945

Wow, ours is graduated and starts at six cents for the first 290 kw hours and was twenty cents for the last 71 kw hours. Gray Davis sold California up the river a few years ago. We used 675 kw hours for 29 days and our bill was $125

I don't know what our rate is, but our elec. bill (does not include water or sewer or anything else) is usually between $250-$300 during the summer.

service charge of $12

usage 133.95 for 9.75 kw, 1288 kwh

then 20.66 for something called eca and county tax of 1.67.

works out to $17.259 per kw, $.13065 per kwh? is that bad?

wow my water/sewer was 25.31

my eletric/gas 109.63

i only know my gas is like .040 per therm

id have to look at the rest.

then again i live in an apartment :blush:

Based on cost divided by kilowatts used it would be 0.10326

You would have paid roughly $130 here

I use GRU (gainesville regional utlities)

Rate Increases Proposed to Take Effect October 1, 2007

Proposed monthly rate increases are as follows for typical customers:

$6.92 for electricity

$0.58 for natural gas

$1.47 for water

$4.62 for wastewater

Total monthly increase for a typical customer: $13.59

That pretty much sucks :(

I think i pay too much for sewer anyway, im at the point of making a schedule for peeing/flushing
