We are still waiting

Hi, Lil-Lost-Girl

Ours are not approved yet. We found out that ours is stuck in FBI name check according to our congressman. This might take for years !!! :crying:

We are thinking about getting legal help or looking other options to expedied our name check..

You should ask your congressman to call to USCIS if yours is in the same situation as ours is.

Good luck

We are not sure what the hold up is, when my husband called to see if he could find anything out, all he was told is that it was on a officers desk being processed, this was last month, and still we have no approval, touches yes, but approvals no

Hello gogo, l could see your complain. you have the right to do it.

l underestant what you are going through , this is very hard.

l hope this ends as soon as posible for all of us.

One thing l am sure about USCIS is that they really have to work hard to improve the system they have now so they can do a better job.

unfortunatelly we are stuck there by now, and we have to be away from our loves one.

Everyday l get up and l think today is the day, at the end of the day nothing yet, but we have to keep faith.

We just have to keep in our minds that after all this happens we can finally be with our love ones and this will be a past experience that tested your patient and made your love stronger.

Don´t worry everything will be fine.

This experience that all of us are going thorough will probably be one of the most difficult challenges in our life; other than losing a loved one. Really these people have no clue what tension and stress they have caused in our lives. But, this will pass.

Also, when I get up; I think maybe this will be the day but, the day passes and then its the week and then another month. Really takes a toll on a person. CSC really needs to make changes. We are all frustrated and torn apart because of a process that has us seperated from our loved ones. You try to keep it all together and be positive but, when you think this might be your turn; another day passes.

Very difficult situation!!! I have never gave up the hope and faith! Our family is worth everything in this world! We all will overcome this madness of processing applications for our families. We all will be united with our families and put this horrible thoughts of USCIS behind us. Best of luck to everyone!

Kimberly

Hi, parachute4U.

I am Alan01's wife. Ours also passed 180 days since we filed, so we contacted to our congressman. He said that our file went to "Extended review". That means our file is stuck in FBI name check for a while. Most of people are sent to FBI for name check, and come back in 72 hours. Ours went to "extended reviews", so it stuck there.

Actually, because of personal reasons, we applied for green card three times.. This is third one. That's why we thnk it is stuck there. It sometimes takes for years to finish up name check when it's stuck..

Now, we are thinking Writing letters to USCIS, FBI, etc to expedied our name check at FBI and if it would not slove then, we are getting ready to sue USCIS taking long time.

USCIS won't tell the truth so easily. Once we got response from our congressman that ours went to extended review, then we called USCIS again to confirm. They told us first that ours is in still normal process, then when we told them that our congressman mentioned ours is in extended reivew. Then they admitted.

You really should get the infomration what is going on your case, then you can think what you can do next..

Good luck on you

Hi Maekai,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulties like that with the USCIS. I hope it can be resolved without too much time being waisted. It's so sad that they can sit on cases like this and keep you from being with your family, especially when kids are involved. I also feel bad for Zolanden who was approved but her child so far has not been approved. I've got my congressman's information and will be faxing in my request in the next day or two.
