I know this is an IR-1/CR-1 forum, but since so many people who are applying or have gotten one of these visas, I thought it would be more knowledgable to ask people in here this question. I just so happened to check the USCIS website today and my I29F for a K-3 was touched. When I click on the case it says the following:

The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done, counting from when USCIS received it. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. To receive e-mail updates, follow the link below to register.

What does this mean? My case goes from MSC/NBC to California and now this? Is this a good sign or bad sign, and did anyone else have this happen? Should I worry or get my hopes up for an approval soon? Please let me know, i'm chewing my nails off wondering

ok finally i seen someone who have the same setuation that i have,,my i-130 was filed to csc in jan and weeks ago if was sent for standard interview at the local office,,well,,this is not good and its not bad at the same time,,,they do this when the'r not sure about ur marriage ,,so either they will ask u to sent more proof of bona fida marriage or they will ask u to go to the local ofice for a standard interview,,if ur marriage is real then ther is nothing to worry about,,but the only problim about this,,is the delay's ,,more delays,,sometimes it take months to hear from them,,,bcoz the local offices are so busy,,,my i-130 was transferm to the local office 45 days ago and nothing yet ,,still waiting,,,2 weeks ago we recieved a letter to send all documents to proof the marriage and they want them even before the interview,,,and who know's how long this will take,,,

can u tell me what does(pre trick)mean?

can u tell me what does(PRE TRICK )MEAN PLZ?

Thanks for the info...ugh, I was so excited because I thought this means that everything is close, but I guess not. I didn't send a lot of initial evidence because I was in such a rush to get everything off, I didn't wait for the wedding photos to come back and i didn't wait for the letter from my bank to show that I added my wife to all my accounts. I just sent some affidavits from friends and family and a copy of my credit card statements to show my wife was added to them.

Anyway, the RFE trick is just a way to get a touch on your account. I can't remember the exact sequence (1,2,2,2,1 or something like that) but when you call the USCIS number, you can get through to the location that has your case and talk to an adjudication officer and they can pull up your case. Its nothing more than a reassurance by getting your case touched really. I've heard some people on here do it and they actually get told that they are approved already or about to be approved a week or two before the email comes. I've heard others say that it delays your case, so I don't really know what, I think they both could be right. When I did it, they didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, but they touched my file.

THNX,,WELL LET ME ASK U THIS,,HAVE UR WIFE EVER BEEN IN THE U.S BEFORE?BCOZ U GT MARRIED IN MARCH,,AND IF SHE WASN'T IN THE U.S THEN HOW DID U ADD HER NAME ON THE BANK ACCOUNT AND UR CREDIT CARDS?TAKE CARE

She has been to the U.S. on a tourist visa...Its how we met when she was in Texas for about a month when she first started working for american airlines. I added her to my accounts, but they can't open up her own account without an social security number, she is just listed as my spouse on my accounts and on my credit cards, I added her and got cards in her own name, but i'm still financially responsible for paying them.

Wow that sucks. I regret not waiting an extra week now so I can send in the extra evidence. I kind of wish they would make it more clear on the forms when you complete them. I submitted the marriage certificate and affidavits as it says, but if that isn't good enough, they should say send in pictures and other stuff. I really never thought that people use this marriage for fraud until I completed it and joined VJ and heard about it like that. darn, more delays now, I guess...
