work permit after NOA1

I thought I'd post this as a general topic, as well. We got the NOA1's for our I-130, I-485, and I-765 today (pakage sent on 7/28 and received on 7/30), however, our checks have yet to be cashed. Can anyone tell us when we should expect to get the work permit? Does it work to go to the local office to try to speed things up? Yak-Nam's (my wife and the immigrant in question) work permit expires on 9/30, hence we are worried

Work permits take up to 90 days or more to get. Info pass appointment at local office wont speed things up, only after 90 days from NOA1 will the local office make an inquiry as to what is taking the national benefits center long to issue EAD.

You can use the VJ timelines to get a fair estimate of how long EAD can take.

The Work permit or EAD normally processed within 90 days. and you already submitted it so all you can do is wait. Good luck!
