Well, i firstly would like to thank you for taking the time to read these lines , besides, i need to inform you that i'm a new user on this website so i really don't know how things work here, however i'm just going to post my question , hopefully i may get a reply!

im on this CR1 visa and today my case got completed in NVC , so , i'm wondering how long it takes for NVC to send our case to casablanca and then how many days does the moroccan consulate need to send me the package of medical exam and the date of interview ?

any information will be appreciated and thank you in advance.

We were going through on a K-1 visa, but once NVC sent the petition to Casa, Casa mailed the package with an interview date the same/or next day. It took one week for my husband to receive it (Casa to Erfoud). The interviews seem to be scheduling 6-8 weeks after receiving the petition.

Welcome and good luck!

ETA: Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr may slow things down a bit, but not much.

Hi,

I have just completed this process so I know all the steps on the CR1 visa process.

You will need to call the NVC the second week of this month. That is when they start scheduling interviews for the following month. Since your case was completed today, you have a really good chance of getting an October interview. You should try calling the entire second week of September. I usually called once each evening. They will tell you that they are still in the process of scheduling and to check back. I even got an operator who told me that we didn't get scheduled and to call back next month. Well, I waited until the next day and called again and was informed that we did get an interview date scheduled in less than 3 weeks!

Your case will be forwarded to the consulate in Casablanca as soon as your interview is scheduled. They will send you the appointment letter and a list of doctors. My husband never did receive his letter or medical instructions. I had to Fed Ex him my copy of the interview letter (your husband will need this to get into the interview). I emailed the consulate to get a list of doctors. They replied the very next day.

I wish you the best of luck. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. I know hard it is finding other couples going through the Casablanca consulate with CR1 visa's.

Hi,

well, I thank you very much for your helpful information and i really appreciate your advice. My wife is calling them almost every five days. by the way, you mentioned that i may get an october interview , why is that ? is it because my case got completed before the second week of this month ? or is there any other reason ? moreover, how much does the medical exam cost ? and what did they ask him in the interview ?

thank you guys, and good luck for u too
