ok today i recieved my state id,MAN i wish i had lied about my weight, there it is blazing out in blue to shame me every time i look at the dang thing, so come on, do you lie or tell the truth about weight on drivers licence or state ID?

you have to tell em how much you weigh, AND if thats not bad enough THEY print it on ya ID

Yeh they ask for your weight for the Alabama Drivers too.

In Michigan when you register your license, they ask for weight, but, they never put it on the license itself..

I'd have thought that your photo tells them if you're a skinnyminny, a regular weight or very heavy... I mean, my face looks positively moonlike in my photo so anybody can tell I'm fat! Aside from the size I'm actually pleased with the photo - I'm smiling and it's a halfway decent pic of me. It came out much better than the one in my greencard, and my passport has the worlds WORST picture on it! I used to cringe every time I had to show my passport for ID because the photo's so bad, but I won't mind this one

Oh God I know what you mean about bad pics. I just got my EAD last week and it is the most awful picture of me that I have ever seen, I'll be cringing to have to show it to potential employers!!! The worse part was I didnt realise that they were taking it after they did at the biometrics appointment. They just asked me to sit in this plastic chair and were typing away on a computer entering my info, I didnt realise that they pressed the camera button!! I was starring blankly right at it unfortunately and I look like I'm sucking on something sour, really moody or about to cry. My hair is messed up too as just before we walked in the building it started to snow with big gusts of wind. This is the picture that will be on my GC too, wont it? The pics I sent with the AOS application were by no means stunning, but they were certainly not shameful like this one is!!!

I wish they had those photobooths here like they do in the UK where you can do 4 different poses and choose which one you like best.

:yes: The picture they placed on the EAD is the same one that will show up on your GC. Just be consoled with the fact that you will only have that GC for 2 years

NCDL does not show weight. Only height, eyes/hair color and race.

I was surprised when I got mine because on the applicaiton form I had put my actual weight. On the actual card it was 20pounds less because she didn't believe I really weighed that much because I don't look as heavy as I am!

Weight is something that changes too much for it to be a basis for identification.

but when you renew your license they don't automatically go to fix your weight. I wasn't even asked last time I renewed... so mine says the same weight it's said since the last time.

I think all DMV should update their software to get all weights from a scale and put one at every window for the person to stand on.
