Dunno but i think when you sign up to ANY forum, there should be acknowlegments to thread posting.

#1 Anyone in the world can read it, become a member and post in it.

#2 no thread belongs to ANYONE, its a public forum, look up public forum if you are having a hard time understanding it

#3 Not everyone is going to agree with your posts or thread topics, the sooner learned, the less upset a member will become.

#4 no one is a guest in any thread, we are all members, not the guest of the person who started the thread

#5 posting topics that are for no reason other than getting faster squares and hearts can get annoying.

There are too many ppl who throw a fit and cry when someone does not agree with something said in the thread. Not to mention too many ppl get self rightous and think bc they started the thread its there and they can chose who replies in it and who doesnt.

can we instate something on threads?

there should also be some level of respect even if you don't agree with the topic...

That's crazy talk.

what can I say?? I am crazy!!:lol:

crazy silly :)

I never disrespet any OP, i may not agree with something, but never disrespct an OP.

And same respect should go from the OP :)

I have respect for posters.... but at the same time if I disagree with a post I will say so if the OP takes that offence at my opinion that is hardly my fault.... yes people post things that maybe would be better on a diffrent forum but that does not mean that I can not say that I do not think that VJ is the place to post it....

I yes I do not have to read things I dont agree with.... that works both ways if the OP does not like what I have said then he.she does not have to read it or agree...

yes, it is ok to disagree with anything that is posted... but we still need to be respectful in how we disagree with things...

no one is disagreeing with you marilyn :)

and at the same time no one was disrespectful

and on the other hand the OP should be respectuful as well, which is sometimes hard to come by

it did come off as disrespectful though even if that wasn't the intention...... things maybe could have been worded better...

initially he was just answering the question that was asked of him, which was why he posted it...

yeah, maybe things got out of hand on both sides....

i am not saying anyone was disrespectful but just that is how it might have been perceived... a bunch of people can look at the same group of words and each person might interpret it differently... it is hard to see the intent behind the words sometimes...

I never said anyone was disrespectful I said it might have been interpreted that way, on both sides....

I am not trying to argue here, just trying to make a point... :)
