You could just leave the middle name blank. Remember, Russians don't have a true middle name, only a patronymic.

Or, you could fill in as much as will fit

Or, you could put "see attachment"

Or, you could put just an initial

It doesn't really matter what you put in that box, just remember to put the same thing in every box. If it's blank in the first box, keep it blank in all the boxes. If you fill it up in the first one, fill it up in the others. Etc.

Having done a whole bunch of govt. paperwork in my short lifetime, I would suggest using the "see attachment" as there is absolutely no question when you use an attachment form. That said, it's probably overkill to write "Item 2C, 3A, 6B, 7, 9, 13F - Mikhaiyelovichevnaskiovna" when all you reall need is an M. in each of the boxes in question.

We just put as much of the patronymic as would fit (we filled it in on the computer) and then just made an attachment. Didn't cause any problems :)

04/06/2007:NVC received case

11/06/2007:Left NVC for Moscow

23/08/2007: INTERVIEW, APPROVED :)
