I think with all the backlog, things have changed and they schedule when God only knows. It used to be folks going through NVC would be scheduled the first two weeks of the month, followed by the DCF'ers. I have no idea how their mind works these days (IF it works at al he he ;) )

Peace, L.

NVC tells me second week of the month is when they schedule, unless they don't do any scheduling that week so ?????

They have minds, when did that happen? What do you expect from the Ministry of Truth? :D For some reason, I keep thinking of an old Tom Lehrer song :)

what the nvc lady explained to me the other day was;

Montreal schedules their interviews in the beginning to middle of the month, they then let the the nvc know how many available slots they have for cr-1's on or around the 15 th. she also told me in no uncertain terms not to bother calling the consulate regarding cr-1 interviews but to call the nvc directly.

I think CR-1/IR-1 through NVC may get the leftovers from DCF not K1 or K3 (at least I would hope not).

{We now interrupt the normally calm Canada forum to bring you some American sarcasm.}

Wow. I'm impressed. You mean to tell that Montreal does schedule interviews? I was thinking, with the lack of interviews lately, that they had been spending all their time surfing VJ.

As a CR1, I'm soooo not happy to hear that we're getting the leftover dates.

{Thank you. Please return to your normal activities.}

Wait...you got an EXPLANATION? Just goes to show you, there's glimmers of hope here and there....or, in the case of the cynical, yet another example of Montreal setting us up for a great BIG CRASH :huh:

well, since it took a month from receiving my appointment letter to the interview itself, I assumed the scheduling in my case happened at the end of the month.

Actually they spend all their time watching pornography and trying not to appear on "To Catch A Predator." :D
