I just wonder if anyone file I751 at NSC and they transfer to CSC. I heard from someone it's true or not, if you send application I751 to NSC for the new fee , they might transfer you to CSC? It's more faster? Or USCIS just random and send some not every case. Did anyone can give me a clear answer? thanks

Yes, many petitions submitted during July and August have been transferred to CSC. And yes, it seems like the processing time is shorter at CSC.

The new fee has nothing to do with whether your case gets transferred or not. I assume it is an attempt to even the workload between the centers.

Thank you very much for clear answer. I sent I751 on August 31 to NSC. How long it take for GC and When I will get NOA? Anyone know? thanks.

It's hard to say how long it will take to get your GC, especially since you do not know where your case will be handled. If you submitted a check with your petition you may be able to see which center cashed it. Once you know that I would refer to other peoples timelines to get a better understanding of the expected processing time. There are people with cases pending at NSC since last year and there are other people who received their GC from CSC within a couple of months.

You should receive the NOA within a month of submitting your petition. This will, as you may know, extend your right to work and live in the U.S. for another 12 months.

Good Luck!

Our I-751s were received by the NSC on 8-16 (I think, check my signature timeline), checks cashed 9-7 and we received the NOAs today (10th) extending the cards a year.

I can't tell by the back of the checks which center cashed them but the NOAs are from the CSC (and that's where the Rejection letter was from) and not the NSC.

I don't know if the I-751 would be more faster when you pay a new fee. I paid the old fee when I sent my I-751 to NSC and then It was transferred to CSC and took about 2 months for the whole process.

Here is my I-751 timeline:

06-26, 2007 :sent I 751 to NSC

06-29, 2007 :received by NSC ( USPS Confirmed)

07-20, 2007 :Money order cashed

NSC transferred my I 751 to CSC ( I did not know when)

08-05, 2007 :NOA1 received

08-07, 2007 :Biometrics Notice received for Aug 15, 2007

08-15, 2007 :Biosmetrics done

08-25,2007 : email (we ordered production card)

08-30,2007 : Approval Notice Sent

09-01,2007 : 10 yrs Green Card arrived in mail box.

Wow, you lucked out -- yours was one of the first they transferred to CSC. In fact, if you had overnighted your I-751 to NSC, it would never have gotten transfered and would still be sitting somewhere in NSC, probably until sometime next year.

Meh
