Hey Mike...as per "Processing Times", the link on VJ top of page, it says approx. 402 days for the CR1...that's the way that we WERE going to go as it would allow me to work as soon as I got there but now we are going after the K3 for a spouse as it's only around 182 days! You would then file the I-129F as soon as you receive the NOA1...if you've already paid the fee for the I-130, you don't pay for the I-129F.

how long does it take for the nvc to process ur application ,lets say i get my i-130 approved,,how long does it take from the day they start ur case until the day they approved ur case at the nvc for cr-1?

mike... look Here and you can see a list of VJ members and how long the process at the NVC is taking for them. The CR-1/IR-1 may take a little longer but we don't have to go through the Adjustment of Status.

Yeah, the CR-1 is lengthier, but less paperwork intensive. Your wife gets her greencard at the POE.

My case from the USCIS - NVC Case completed status was 195 days or approximately 6 1/2 months.

Time Spent at USCIS to NOA 2 - 83 Days

Time in Transit Between USCIS and NVC - 19 Days

DS-3032 Acceptance - 5 Days

I-864 Review complete - 12 Days

DS-230 Review complete - 10 Days

Time Spent at NVC to Case Complete Status - 112 Days

Time in Transit Between NVC and Embassy - 6 Days

I should have an interview date with the Embassy in Mid-October or Mid November
