Hi all,

I have had a successful interview on August 27. There was a problem on my birth certificate, the officer told me to bring it on September 26, and he will stamp my passport.

Next week we are moving (I know it is a bad timing, but we have to:( ). I am wondering if it will be OK to fill in AR-11 and I-865 online? Do we still need to call Service center or do we need to inform my local office, Newark?

The change of address should not be that diffucult, but it seems many people have had problem. My AOS process has been quite smooth and fast, I dont want to face with a last minute surprise.

Yes, if you a process pending you have to call USCIS to notify them after filing the AR-11 online. When you are filing it, they ask you if you have a case pending, go to that option, you have to call them. And yes, you will have to file the I-865 also. When you are doing the AR-11 online, make sure you print your confirmation number.

I am not sure what you mean about filling them out online Any time you move you should fill out the forms and mail to the appropriate USCIS address.

You fill now AR-11 online, you can also mail them.

I am on USCIS website to fill AR-11 online, but there is no part that asks whether I have a pending case or not. Where should I select that option?

It will ask you if you have pending cases after you fill it all out and submit it. You will also be given the option to save the confirmation as a PDF and will be given another confirmation number for the pending cases. You'll see what I mean when you do it all online.

If you are returning an RFE to the interviewer by mail, I would include a copy of the AR-11 confirmation in there and kindly ask the officer to double-check the address for you as well.

If you are returning the RFE in person, have them double-check it for you while you're there.

Don't forget to also change your address with USPS.
