WOW! Nice TV, but I must admit that the WOW goes for both Luz and Gary - you are such a lovely couple. Wishing you years of happiness and plenty of apple pie!

I'm happy for you - it's nice to be able to afford this stuff.

They had a real deal. 0% financing with 3 years to pay. I bought it "open box" for $800. The TV, stand, extended warranty and delivery was only $1100. Thats only $30/month.

Now I gotta make sure my husband doesn't see that - he's been thinking of buying a huge TV for a while... :)

Yep, I think you two got a great deal. The good thing about an open box TV is that it has also been burned in, so any defects or major problems should have appeared long ago. Whenever I get new computers, TV's or other electronics I tend to run them 24/7 for a few weeks to see if I can get defects to show ASAP.

TV like that would be $5K easy just 2-3 years ago. Even now $1500+ is probably normal.

Thing looks great. Hope you two have plenty of good movie and sports nights with family and friends around. Congrats.

We have one at home and it looks exactly like yours sis Luz. My hubby bought it less than 2 years ago and it cost him a whopping $4K +/- including tax and delivery. He'll go crazy if he'll know that you got his once dream HDTV for $800.

P.S.

You're looking good sis! What's the secret??? :secret:

Well, Luz is in charge of the Netflix. The last 6 movies were picked by her and I didn't even know what we were going to watch until it went into the machine. Fortunately for us we have the same taste in TV and movies so everything is good.
