Well, I can tell you that being a child from divorced parents that I did indeed go to spend time with my dad when I was younger. It seems like a lot now, but when you're ten, everything seems like a lot! It got to the point that I knew that spending time with him was no longer good for me, and in fact I wish that I'd had a therapist tell my mother not to let me see him. I told him I didn't want to visit and he had no choice but to be okay with that. I don't remember how old I was when I decided this but he couldn't make me go with him. There was no way that a judge would make me go see him either. I know now that I should have stopped seeing him a long time before I did. As of right now, when I was 18, so about 8 years ago, he asked my siblings and I to go live with him so he wouldn't have to pay child support. One by one we all said no and he said "Have a nice life." and that was it. We've heard from him once in the last 8 years. Not that I mind though. I could care less if I never hear from him again. In fact, it would be a blessing.

You need to fight and do whatever you feel is right for your daughter. You'll both appreciate it in the end. As to the legal side of things, I have no idea, but good luck!
