ok not sure if this is where i should post this but thought i would try....just found out i am 6 weeks preggo...i know should be a exciting time...but her is the thing...my insurance does not cover maternity unless i am high risk...my hubby is in the process for his AOS....i was told to look into medicare..i did and i could file for it online...i got a little scarred when they started asking about mike and what his status is. who his sponser is ect...if filling for this state funded program could effect him w/ getting his green card since i am his sponser and i am asking for assistance??? any help would be great!

I am not sure what it means for your process here - it would be medicaid that you are applying for not medicare - and the programs consider a full range of income levels in which depending on ur income, u may pay a small copay - therefore many more ppl qualify for state asst w/medical coverage than do for other programs...I am sure there are others here who may have experience w/this.....but certainly you dont want to be w/o medical coverage for you and ur baby...

If you live in California you could try Medical but am not sure if you would qualify.
