Yet another packet 3 question

We never recieved the packet 3, but will soon be sending in the info anyway. I'm getting worried reading threads on the K-1 visa forum about sending in DS-230 pt1 with the rest of the packet 3 info. It hasn't been listed on any of the lists I can find for egypt, but should he be sending it in anyway?

Anyone have a recent list of everything from the packet 3 from Egypt? (just to make sure )

I want to make sure everything is right before he sends it in

Does your SO have an interview scheduled? If not, I wouldn't worry yet. If there is an interview scheduled, I would contact the embassy and request one or if packet 3 has been mailed yet. I am sure someone here can tell you exactly what's in packet 3 for Egypt SO.

How are you sure your sending all the right papers if you never recieved packet 3? from my expierence alot of people never actually get the first packet 3 the Embassy sends out. You should e-mail the Embassy and request another packet 3. I would wait until you recieve the actual packet before you mail anything in. Better to be safe than regret sending in something they reject.

How are you sure your sending all the right papers if you never recieved packet 3? from my expierence alot of people never actually get the first packet 3 the Embassy sends out. You should e-mail the Embassy and request another packet 3. I would wait until you recieve the actual packet before you mail anything in. Better to be safe than regret sending in something they reject.

i agree .. some people have never recieve the 1st packet 3 .. so btter to contact the embassy and see if it has been sent .. and if so ask them when it was sent ! and if it hasn't been sent yet so i hope it will be sent soon .

the point here is not what packet3 contains .. the point is it must be sent from the embassy and received via the applicant .

The way I understand it, time is running out for Polarbear . Their NOA-2 is soon to expire and they wanted to get everything sent in to the Embassy before time runs out. But now there is a problem, and that is the P3 was never sent . Yes, Polarbear could E mail and E mail and E mail the Embassy and request another be sent. This does not mean it's going to happen. It may. It may not. I think if Polarbear sends a few e Mails a week, someone surely would respond to at least one of them , even if PB got the P3 in the form of an e Mail as opposed to the actual hard copy. She can always print out the P3 e Mail as proof she got a response from the Embassy IF it came down to requesting the NOA-2 be extended. And IMO, it is better to request an extention than to assume the Consulate is going to automatically do it for them.

My embassy renews your NOA2.. you should confirm the address they mailed the packet 3 to..

Yup... NOA-2 was received by the embassy June 13. I have contacted the embassy by email multiple times.... did get a couple of responses. Too bad they don't answer phone enquiries anymore.

Do know that the embassy has received the application, it has been processed, and the packet 3 has been sent. They asked me to confirm his address 2 times, said they would resend the packet, but he never recieved it.... It's a problem bc I have given the address I have used to send multiple letters to (DHL also) but he never recieved it.

He lives 2 hours from Cairo, but I think I'm going to talk him into showing up at the embassy and demanding the packet. He is still waiting on a police certificate from France so he can't send it in yet anyway.

The NOA-2 has 4 months right? 1 more month (not even) and we still don't have all the paperwork collected! He waited on the police reports because he didn't believe he needed them I'm sill a little angry about that one.

Anyone know how to request an extension on the NOA-2??

email your embassy and ask for an extension, the embassy should have authority to grant this request. Make sure you receive confirmation by email.

Just go to the embassy in person and ask for the papers. That is what my husband did.
