I have a receipt date notice for an I-130 for February 14th and still waiting for medical and interview date. I have received everything else and returned them, NVC recording just says we recieved your packet allow 6-8 weeks for the outcome of your case. My gosh I hope that is just a generic recording!

From what I gather, once Manila receives your file, they are scheduling about 6 weeks after that. This is what I read lately from reading peoples timelines going through Manila. I just wish CSC and NVC was as organized as the Embassy there.

March, 23 2007 Sent; March 26, 2007 Rcvd, March 30, 2007 NOA1

April 2, 2007 Touch - "Case received and pending"

August 27, 2007 faxed expedite request, August 28th, 29th, 30th Touch

September 3, 2007 Called CSC, nothing yet (Touches sept. 3 & 4)

September 10, 2007 Called CSC, file is "in transit" (Touches sept. 10 & 11)

October 16, 2007 NOA2 mailed

November will not forward to NVC, due to pending I-129f

I-129F

April 16, 2007 Sent to Chicago, IL; April 17, 2007 Rcvd, Apriil 20, 2007 NOA1

May 11, 2007 Transfer Notice - CSC

June 6, 2007 Touch - "The case is now pending at the office at which it was transferred

05/23/07 - NVC receives petition and case # assigned.

06/18/07 - Form DS-3032 (Choice of Agent) & AoS bill generated.

06/19/07 - E-mailed choice of agent using James' shortcut.

06/21/07 - Mailed AOS bill via overnight mail using James' shortcut.

06/27/07 - NVC e-mails back accepting Choice of Agent

07/02/07 - IV bill generated.

07/14/07 - Received IV bill via snail mail

07/16/07 - Mailed IV bill back via overnight mail.

07/19/07 - I-864 received via snail mail

07/20/07 - Mailed I-864 via overnight mail.

07/23/07 - Payment for IV bill entered into the system

07/31/07 - DS-230 generated.

08/13/07 - Received DS-230 coversheet via snail mail.

08/14/07 - Mailed DS-230 packet to NVC via overnight mail (didn't use James' shortcuts).

08/16/07 - DS-230 info entered in NVC's system.

I filed 2/5/07 and already have interview scheduled for 9/27/07.

According to the DOS link, the NVC schedules the interview with the embassy on the second week of each month for the following month. You might have yours scheduled this week.
