I received my conditional GC in Jan 2005 and I am in the process of gathering materials for filing the I751 petition. My wife (US Citizen) took a job in a different city a few months ago and we have been more or less living separately since, seeing each other on most weekends. The relationship is a bit rocky at the moment and we are not sure where it is heading. We own property together, have shared assets, etc..plenty of evidence of the fact that our marriage is real.

MY QUESTION: does our current living situation / relationship status warrant a mention on the application (say, on the cover letter) (= being honest) or would we be better off leaving it out altogether? I am sure there is precedent for this kind of a situation, does anyone have any experiences with it?

Thank you for your input...
