Hi guys,

We just submitted my DS230 package, my husband just told me he forgot to put in the marriage certificate...

I am thinking i might have put in too many docs anyway, but i got stuck in all the info and i really dont understand what we all even had to sent in with it, i just did everything to be better safe then sorry.

Anyway:

We sent this along:

Copies of both passports

My birthcertificate (im the immigrant)

Could anyone tell me if that marriagecert was really necessary? And if yes, what i should do now?

Thanks so much, im stressing out a lot here....

What probably NVC would tell you if you call them is to wait for them to send you a mail or another checklist if the marriage certificate, or any other documents need to be submitted. I suggest not to send anything not until they request for it.

Hi Eva,

Vylex is correct and it looks like Amsterdam is 'Standard'. If you have a look here: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3176.html and choose your consulate it will tell you what you needed to send, which was as vylex said and it will also tell you which documents you need to collect for the interview.

Heh, I initially did the same. Also keep out for the medical part when browsing. I was perplexed as to why I couldn't find a doctor for Sydney but then realized the listings were for select consulates only.
