Just an update, I tried the alcohol and didn't work. The top is 100% cotton, btw. Then I tried the paste made with baking soda and it worked. So ty PJ :thumbs:

Bringing the thread back..

Another tip from you guys, how about chili sauce stain that I made the mistake of washing it first, and obviously the stain stayed there.

I'm trying to google, but no luck when it comes to old stains like that if I can use bleach because of the color.

There is color safe bleach now, dunno if it'd work.

You know what I regret not bringing with me? The brazilian book "Sebastiana Quebra Galho", have you heard of it? It has A LOT of information on homemade solutions to house situations, from tips on stains and gardening, to making your own detergent, to kitchen tips. It was an awesome book. It had some info on homemade medicine as well, like the right tea for stomach aches and little things like that.
