I feel so sad and hopeless today. I know starting out on this journey I saw peoples case fly by and others get stuck for way to long. I always hoped ours would not be the latter. The realazation has hit home we are the latter, our case has been stuck in Cairo for 4 plus months now and who knows how long till it's sent to DOS and even after that how freaking long it will take at DOS . Life is so unfair, Im just so sad...... it feels our day will never come. at least not this year I figure a few more months in Cairo 4-6 months at dos another 2 months once its back to cairo thats ten more months easy. It does not feel like the weekend just another day stuck in AP hell :crying:

Did anyone run across this post?

Seems to be saying something about everyone who is stuck in "name checks" will be sending flowers to the FBI on a specific date. Can you imagine how many flowers the FBI will get? lol.....I know it sounds kind of silly, but if it gets their attention then I can't see the harm in that. :)

Never, Never, Never Quit!

Happy Anniversary Amerlu and Khalid!!! Happy Birthday Hicham!!!

wateriswide - don't lose hope yet!!! I doubt seriously that you have that long to go. Once it gets to dos I don't think it normally takes more than a couple of weeks to get the checks done and then after that maybe a month for cairo to get their act together and issue the dang visa. Chin up girlie you're in the home stretch!!!!!

I have been doing soooo much work on the house today. I even drilled a hole in the wall without a drill. Had to nail some holes with a hammer and make a hole with a small saw. My arms are killing me!!! Took some shelving out of a closet I"m rearranging and lugged a lot of clothes into a corner of my garage for goodwill. Even took out a doorhandle and put in one with a lock in it in for the bathroom so that we can now lock the door since the girls seem to be wanting their privacy and when the hubby comes here they can feel more comfortable in the bathroom. Just have to install another lock door knob in our bedroom and I'll be half way ready for him. I know I'm going to wake up so freakin' sore tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing was I didn't even notice I was fasting all day long 'cause I was so busy.:dance:

It is a gloomy sunday here in michigan. We finally did close up the pool yesterday (boo hoo). I hate looking into my backyard with the pool being closed up. I am already looking forward to summer 2008!

Yes Happy Sunday. It's bright and sunny and we're all still alive for another day! :P

I have two tests and two papers due heading into this fourth week of school. I knew it would be a rolling snowball with me taking 18 credits. It's time to buckle down and really focus on the 2 hrs. of studying to every 1 hr. of class time. Yes I would rather spend my time on VJ with friends.

I'm trying the Christian Bale diet too.

TTYL,

Olivia
