Hello everyone I am currently doing DCF through Sydney. I was just going through my packet 3, I have my police records, my medical is on Monday, and the affidavit of support form from my wifes father (my wife was a student so no income, although she is about to start work in the states) Now looking through the checklist it mentions i-134 and that "it may be in your file or otherwise attached" Well mine isn't and I don't know what this form is! It does not mention this on the us embassy in sydney website or on the list of instructions I got when first starting this process. It would be great if someone could shed some light on this form.

This is the affidavit of support form: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

It certainly was required when we filed the petition at CSC. Did the USC make a copy of the petition, it should have been there?

hello thanks for the reply. I had a look again at the Sydney website and they only mention it in regards to K visas. With spouse visas they only mention the i-864. When we filed we had to submit the i-130, g325a biographic form. They approved that stage and then we received packet 3 not long after with the medical form, affidavits of support, police record requirements and ds-230 1&2 and ds 2001 form no i-134.

I-134 is not required for a CR or IR DCF. Just the I-864.

I-134 Jasman is NOT required submitting to CSC either no matter what type of visa.

Only at the K1/K3 interview later.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

DCF folks don't need the I-134. What you mention as being in your Packet 3 sounds complete to me (although Sydney's requirements may slightly differ from London's, what you list was in our P3). It must be an error on the Embassy's side -- I've seen this happen before on VJ, where the Embassy asks for documentation that is appropriate for another type of visa.

You mention that you have your father-in-law's I-864 -- your wife has done one too, right? (Just checking... ) And she's either been filing her taxes for the past three years or has made a statement to the IRS that she's exempt? I only ask because this often trips the USCs doing DCF. If you have, feel free to tell me to stop meddling! :innocent:
