Old buddies will always back up old buddies. Pointing out that I was asking for an illegal copy of microsoft...at the time I was just really stressed out and I needed a solution quickly. I didn't mean to do anything wrong and didn't know the rules at the time. I don't know how many more times I can apologize. It would be great if this thread could be locked.

By the way I am a she. I will take responsibility for what I said in the original thread, but to feel like I should take sole responsibility for how it wound up, in my opinion, is unfair. I said what I said because of how I felt and I still stand by it. No one can really be 100% correct when advice is given in any particular situation. Therefore, in my opinion, it's not helpful for someone to say in a thread about how VJ has changed so much and that people are just throwing misinformation around if you take a look at the thread.. Wouldn't it be more helpful to correct someone in a polite manner and move on? But that is not what was done, At the time, that gave me the impression that A)since I was a part of that thread originally, what I had said was misinformation, that B)There are some members that are more credible than others for which ever reasons and C)That because I am new, as someone put it, that must mean that my opinion or knowledge base must be small and infinite.

I'm sorry I ranted here in the Canadian forum. I should, as I have said, just kept my mouth shut. My intention was not to offend, but to express my annoyance with some things and I shouldn't have done it.

I posted in that thread, too, but I didn't take the quote about misinformation as a slight on what I had said. Nor did I think that the comments made about misinformation were 'impolite'.

Threads at VJ go off topic almost more than I change my socks. I didn't see it as 'unhelpful' to point out the misinformation - in fact, it would be more of a detriment to not point out the inaccuracies. Obviously there is a tactful way to do that (ie no name calling, etc) and I thought kitkat was tactful about it. Horses for courses I guess.

Her loss will be considerable to VJ. I know of no one more informed about waivers than kk.

If she chooses to leave over what I said, which compared to what I have seen in other threads, hardly scratches the surface, then I don't know what else to say.

I only made that last statement because its a fact - and I'm sure someone whose been around long enough like kk wouldn't leave over what ONE person said or did. Sum of all parts, and all that jazz.

I hope she stays and continues to give people advice about waivers. I attempted to give her a personal apology but I guess that's just not ok. Oh well.

And the point is? Kitkat may be my buddy but she is still an invaluable resource to VJ, esp in waivers. Her presence will be missed. So valuable that her PM box gets soooo full from people asking her advice, she has chosen to block to PMs.

You attacked her in that thread, then chose to make an entire new post about it in this forum.

I can't believe we are still debating it.

Many of us canucks like to post in JUST the Canada forum, because it "normally" stays pretty clean. Were a pretty mellow crew and we normally take things with a good sense of humor that we each understand. other countries/cultures may not understand our point of view and they take it the wrong way! I don't think I haver ever posted in another countries forum (not that I can recall, might have happened??) Hope everything works out for everyone. Cheers

I am going to repeat what I said in that other thread in AOS forum.

Please stop attacking each other in this thread. It might be easier to post with a cautionary tone that misinformation has been provided vs. escalating the "heat". It is all about delivery, in a suggestion post, and a correction post.

This does not have to turn into she said - she said. Let's just try to be kinder in the future. WIth that, I am closing this thread. Please feel, free to PM me should you have any questions. thanks.
