I can understand his general dislike for protesters. I can't stand them either.

Did a bunch of people with signs wander around to make the US a country free of UK rule? No, they kicked some butt.

Did people use "peaceful protest" as a way of expressing their displeasure over taxation? No, they tossed a bunch of tea in the harbour.

What good do protesters do? Not a bit. Protesters are the wussies who think they have an opinion, and think they are for or against something, but don't have the balls to actually DO anything about it. It's the "No-Risk" method of showing how you feel about something.

Ergo, I have no respect for protesters.

This "bunch of people with signs" brought down a tyrannical regime just about two decades ago.

Other "bunches of people with signs" did the same across much of Eastern Europe.
