Maybe he was giving the bird to the illegals in the crowd ... the ones that don't belong here in the first place ... you know the non-citizen.

So ... did the person (illegal) receiving the bird exist? (not here on paper so no proof to be a person ... which begs another question .... if an illegal was murdered ... is it a crime?) or did a colleratal damage person (USC or legal) notice the gusture and take offense :o:lol:

Persons, whether they are here legally or not are under the jurisdiction of state and federal laws.

thing is this has nothing to do with them being pro immigration protesters or whatever.. the police officer admitted he had no idea what the people were protesting about...

this has to do with the fact that a uniformed police officer driving a police car, fingered a group of people.... it doesn't really matter what they were protesting, that wasn't right

uh huh ... then why are they still here? because they are obeying the law ?

so ... what happens to you when they "hit and run" your vehicle in your state? do you just "suck-it-up" and pay the repair bill because they don't exist and yet they are "under the jurisdiction" and yet enjoy the protection of laws ... like you do ? :P

I think maybe he knew and was cya ... and maybe he had a recent bad experience dealing with an illegal and the bird ... just happened.

Sgt. Mike Doherty, a 20-year veteran, admitted he made obscene gestures "due to his general distaste for protesters," according to Holly Hosac, a Mesa police spokeswoman.

he doesn't like any kind of protester.... it doesn't matter what they are protesting about... i really don't think this has anything to do with the illegal issue..

I can understand his general dislike for protesters. I can't stand them either.

Did a bunch of people with signs wander around to make the US a country free of UK rule? No, they kicked some butt.

Did people use "peaceful protest" as a way of expressing their displeasure over taxation? No, they tossed a bunch of tea in the harbour.

What good do protesters do? Not a bit. Protesters are the wussies who think they have an opinion, and think they are for or against something, but don't have the balls to actually DO anything about it. It's the "No-Risk" method of showing how you feel about something.

Ergo, I have no respect for protesters.

Especially Fred Phelps.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

How about the protesters who burn flags, torch cars and break windows?

Burning a flag, torching a car, and breaking windows do not immediately further your goal. These people use "protest" as a way of channelling their destructive urges. If they didn't "protest", they'd probably be European soccer fans.

The examples given aren't protesters.... they're vandals.
