Of course you can! My intent was to edumacate..... :)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

in new mexico..the zunis hated the navajos..and use to call the navajo head..chief shitty shorts of the tribe..nowipes

The Hopis of Arizona also have had a lot of discontent with the Navajos, whose reservation completely encompasses the Hopis. I think they're considered the johny-come-lately's.

brother stevie, the hopis and zunis are sister tribes..been to the hopi res. many times..had a curse put on me by a witch ( long story)..the issue with the navajos is over the joint usage area (jua) and the history of the pueblos tribes..being at war with the navajos..indians tribes still hate each other and our enemies to this date..

Oh wow! I love the Hopi Mesas...very mystical land. I visited there about 10 years ago - Old Oraibi...wish I could go watch them dance. We couldn't take pictures, record any sounds or even make sketches. I hope I can go back there...take Jinky to see the place.

Right on  When I was a kid I belonged to this club called the Kian Indians and we would travel around Colorado in the summer time doing traditional North American Indian dances. One of those was the Hopi rain dance and every time we would do it, it would rain. We made our own feathered costumes and the drum people were dressed in tradional Navajo garb. Wow, that was about a million years ago.

Did you ever visit the Walnut Creek Canyon in Flagstaff, AZ? If you and Claudeth ever travel to that vicinity, I'd highly recommend it! You can walk down this winding trail along the cliffs and see the ancient cliff dwellings of the Anasazi. One summer afternoon, we were going down the trail and it rained in the canyon...very moving experience.

I will have to show her that, she really liked the American Indian culture. When we were in Colorado in July we decided to do Four Corners so, of course, we had to hit Mesa Verde and we also went went back up north and hit Monument Valley. She is totally in love with the jewelry and bought a bunch of things when we stayed at Jacob's Lake by the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

Oh for sure then take her to the Hopis Mesas...you can get some authentic Kachina dolls there carved on the traditional root they have used...and they are gorgeous. Then head south to Flagstaff ...Walnut Canyon is about 10 minutes from downtown. It's kind of hidden place (most people go see the Grand Canyon), which is why it is one of my favorite places. It's big (about 350ft down into the canyon) but the trail only goes about 180ft down.

Of course they do ! The Anishinabe don't like the Huron, Mohawk, Iroquois, and so on.

nah, they do not like any tribe in history that was there enemy...except the apaches, hleped them out on a lobby for the zuni lake with the feds and now, they are seen as rehabilitated.
