Question number 18 on I-129F

"Has your fiance ever met you" etc...

Do they want us to fill out how we initially met? I.E. "We met online" "we met on my trip in 2000" etc... How much detail should I go into?

THANKS EVERYONE!

I attached a supplemental sheet and told a brief story of how we became acquainted, eventually met, and kept our love alive through additional trips, conversations, and so forth. It was about one sheet of paper long.

This is a critical question. You must be able to truthfully answer yes in the check box. Then you explain as much as you wish but you must then document at least one meeting, in person, within the past two years. If there are more, be sure to mention the dates of at least one for which you have primary evidence like passport stamps and boarding passes.

I tend to agree with those who offer a brief statement supplimented by a one page evolution of relationship suppliment, for K1 but just the basics are all that is required.
