Hello May filers, I just could not handle the torture any longer so this morning I decided to call USCIS using the RFE trick. A nice Hispanic lady took my call and she immediately requested for my receipt # and asked what type of application I had submitted. Then she confirmed my name and home address. To my surprise, she said the magic word...... "approval notice was sent on September 4th 2007". I quickly asked her what date the petition was approved and she replied August 31st. So my 08/31st touch resulted in NOA-2. USCIS website still says our case is still in "received and pending" status. We did not receive any email notification too. Thank God this part of the journey is behind us. What an angonishing painful wait! I would advice other filers that have been waiting (at least 120 days) and did experience a touch to call USCIS to check perhaps their petition has already been approved. For those that are still waiting, hold tight your good news is on the way. Oh yes....This is going to be a good weekend. Cheers!!! :dance::dance::dance:

BTW, VJ projected NOA-2 date was 09/22/07

NOA-2 Approved !!!!!

April 24, 2007 - I-129F received at NSC

May 18, 2007 - I-129F received at CSC

August 22, 2007 - called USCIS and found out we were APPROVED on August 18, 2007

August 22, 2007 - received email from CRIS, late afternoon, saying we were approved

September 10, 2007 - NVC RECEIVED! YAY!

September 12, 2007 - Left NVC on it's way to Dublin! WAHOOOO!

September 28, 2007 - Packet 3 Received

November 1, 2007 - Medical

November 8, 2007 - Packet 3 Sent to Embassy

December 7, 2007 INTERVIEW!!!

APPROVED!!!!

December 19, 2007 **Alan arrives in Seattle**

WEDDING DATE Valentines day 2008

February 25, 2008 - AOS Packet sent

March 24, 2008 - BIOMETRICS

April 30, 2008 - EAD APPROVED!

October 24 - INTERVIEW!!!!!!

December 11, 2008 - Approved! Green Card being generated. YAY!

December 29, 2008 Greencard Arrives THANK YOU VISAJOURNEY for all your help!

We were NEVER touched and never told we were approved, the RFE trick did not work because the tard who took my call refused to give me any information, so I called NVC and found out our case was there....obviously approved.

Anyway....Congratulations to you, Arinola ! It's a great feeling, isn't it.

03/16/2008 - Case online.

03/22/2008 - Biometrics assigned date: 04/01/2008, Bio completed early .

03/24/2008 - AOS Touched.

03/27/2008 - RFE Letter : Dated.

03/31/2008 - RFE snail mail rec'd date ( EZ-864 / Missing birth certificate).

04/01/2008 - Mailed RFE response.

04/03/2008 - RFE document delivered to Lees Summit, MO @ 4:03 P.M:

04/07/2008 - AOS Touched, Current status: Response to rfe received, and case processing has resumed.

04/08/2008 - AOS Touched.

Make sure you let us know when your interview will be. I'm curious to know the interview dates that Lagos is currently giving out to people. I'm wondering if I'll even be able to get an interview this year.

June 8th - I-129F mailed to VSC

June 13th - NOA1

November 9th - NOA2!!!

January 10th - APPROVED!

January 24 - Pick up visa

January 31 - Honey arrives in US!

February 28- Court marriage

May 2- NOA1 for I-485 and EAD

May 31- Biometrics

June 2- TOUCHED

Sept 2008 - Perm resident

Congratulations! But one question.... was it actually approved in Nebraska or did it get transferred to California and approved there??

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!
