OMG!!!!!!

I checked the list this morning that Rome CIS posts to show the applications for waivers. I had told many of you that the file had been received on August 1st. We were then told that Hicham's U.S. file had to be sent to Rome in order for them to make their final decision.

When I found his case number, I was totally expecting to see "Pending". BUT....when I found his case number, it said "Ready for Adjudication"!!!!!!!!

This means that they have everything to begin reviewing and make their decision. This happened so much faster than I thought. I was expecting it to take at least a couple of months for the U.S. file to make it to Rome.

I swear I had goosebumps all over when I saw what it said. To think that we are almost there...I don't have words to describe the anticipation and feelings that my husband could soon be home with us and this nightmare will be over. It's like being in prison and knowing that you are soon going to be set free...you just don't know what day.

I just had to share with all of my VJ friends who have given me so much support and happy thoughts along the way.

INSHALLAH....my next post will be.....APPROVED!!!!

:) :) :):yes::) :) :)

wow thats is SO awesome, do you have any idea what the timeframe in Rome might be from this point?

I've really searched the internet about processing times for Rome, but they seem to be all over the place. The canned response from Rome themselves is that it takes 6 months from the time of receipt. But I have read some posts from people on various other immigration sites that their case didn't take as long. AND, I don't know if the fact that Hicham's case is so old that it's getting moved to the top of the pile.

It could be two more weeks or two more months. We have no idea at all. But I can say that his file be Ready for Adjudication has happened WAY FASTER than I expected. I'm afraid to hope that the decision will be quick as well.

WOW, just when you stop watching the pot, the water boils! This is such good news! and about damn time!

:lol: AMEN to that!!!!! I've been stirring it for such a long time...just when I leave the kitchen.... :lol:

Thank you ALL so much for the well wishes! Keep the MOJO coming!!!!!!!! :D
