Amusing myself

During lunch today, I drove past one of those big radar detectors that the cops put out to show you your speed so that you hopefully slow down.

I don't know why, but I felt the need to speed up and slow down in order to confuse the machine and make the numbers keep changing rapidly. I really wanted to confuse the ####### out of that machine and I was tempted to make the numbers turn red and flash. I also tried to maintain a constant speed to see if my speedometer was accurate.

In the end.....I wondered why I got so much amusement by f'ng with this machine. I had a satisfaction knowing I made it work hard in those moments, otherwise breaking up its pretty mundane day.

The people behind me were not too pleased with all of my braking and speed changes, but hey......that's life.

i always tried to make it read exactly the speed limit (it's usually flashing when i go by )

See.....amusing implies humor to me. I have never giggled during masterbation.......ok there was that one time but that doesn't count because anyone would laugh at how much glitter got everywhere.

In high school, the cops put one of these on the road leading up to school. A friend decided to see how high he could make it go. A few weeks later, he got a nice large speeding ticket in the mail. Apparently, these often times have cameras attached.

ETA: These were Wisconsin cops too, so beware

Now that's just shameful. They can't put those machines out there and expect that people will not instinctively speed up to make the numbers flash and turn red. That's outrageous.

WI cops are an interesting bunch sometimes.
