Hi folks

my story began last week when I received an e-mail from the embassy to go and pick up my appointment package on 6th September .

I went and received my appointment package but when I opened it and read the appointment letter

surprised that the interview date was on 5th September and the medical examination date was 25th September.

So what are your suggestions ?

and what can I do in this case ?

not sure how your consulate works, but I would suggest to put lay out the problem in wirting and include supporting evidence (like the email with the date they told you to come) and ask wither by e-mail or in person how this can be resovled. Hopefully they will put you back in the schedule without having to wait a long time for a new interview.

You should definitely get in touch with the embassy ASAP and, considering the fact that it's their fault for not notifying you about your interview BEFORE its scheduled date, they should be willing to accomodate you with a new date soon. Good luck.

Do I have to wait long time to schedule another interview date ?

I would contact your embassy. It could be that the interview is on October 5 not September 5 and it was a misprint. That would make more sense given that the medical was scheduled on the 25th and normally you'd have the medical before the interview.

12/28/06 - got married :)

02/05/07 - I-130 NOA1

02/21/07 - I-129 NOA1

04/09/07 - I-130 and I-129F approval email sent!!!!

04/26/07 - Packet 3 received

06/16/07 - Medical Examination

06/26/07 - Packet 3 SUBMITTED FINALLY!!!!

07/07/07 - Received pkt 4

07/22/07 - interview consular never bothered to show up for work.

07/29/07 - interview.
