im a little bit worried now,cos since june 16,2007 was transfered to CSC i didnt recieve any updates yet in my case ..its been 4 months now since i've submitted my AOS application. whats wrong with uscis now? i've notice some people had their greencard already and they just submmitted their applications after mine. this is so deppressing,ive been stuck in home for almost a half year now. :(

Some applications take longer than others do. You just need to hang in there and wait it out.

2001 Met

2005 Married

I-485/I-130

12/06/2006-------Mailed I-130/1-485

12/16/2006--------Recieved NOA 1 (I-130 & I-485)

12/18/2006--------Touched I-130/I-485

01/20/2007--------Biometrics

05/10/2007 -- Interview, Approved!

05/22/2007 GREEN CARD arrives!!!

02/2009 - File to lift conditions

I-765

12/14/2006--- Mailed EAD App.

01/20/2007--- Biometrics

02/09/2005-------Sent in request to Congressional office for assistance with expediting EAD.

02/13/2007 -------- EAD Approved!

02/26/2007 - ------EAD received

Removal of Conditions:

05/12/2009 -- Overnighted application by USPS express mail (VSC).

05/14/2009 -- Green Card expired.

05/23/2009 --- Check cleared bank.

05/26/2009 -- Received NOA (NOA date May 15, 2009, guess they aren't deporting me).

05/29/2009- Biometrics Notice date

06/01/2009- Received Biometrics Letter

06/18/2009 - Biometrics

09/23/2009 - date of decision to approve (letter received), just waiting for card. No online updates whatsoever.

Hi tiki! you are not the only one who is worried with the application of AOS. In my case, they cancelled my interview just this august and till now, I dont hear anything from them :( I also pray that soon, i could get a new update of my application.

July 7,2006 = received i-129f at NSC

July 12, 2006 = NOA1

Sept 15, 2006 = touched

Sept 17, 2006 = touched

Sept 18, 2006 = Finally! we got email notification of NOA2!!! :)

Sept 23, 2006 = NOA2 in mail

Oct 11, 2006= electonic mail of my case number! thanks God!

Feb 15, 2007 = interview (approved! thanks God)

March 8, 2007 = Arrived in Portland, Oregon

May 2007 AOS application

Aug 2007 Interview date but cancelled :(

praying for approval soon

It could be a number of things, being that it is at CSC means that your application required less scrutiny, but you could be stuck in the FBI Name check. The only was to confirm this is to have an elected official make an inquiry in to your case.

All cases are different. Some get processed fast, others take longer. I wouldn't say 4 months is a long time - it seems normal to me.

It feels awful to have to wait and I'm sure you are genuinely worried/stressed, however, there are many here who have been waiting well over a year. Put yourself in their shoes and try to understand how they are feeling.

I'm sure you'll hear something soon, until then all you can do it wait, I'm afraid. :(

It took Claudeth five months to get her approval. About a month after her petition was transferred to CSC she received the approval notice. Good luck :thumbs:
