I-130 question 22

Hi everyone,

I am F1 student, my husband is US citizen. We are filling concurrently I-130 and I-485. My application forms will send to Chicago Lockbox.

We just download forms on the USCIS web and fill them and send them to Chicago. Is it ok or do we need to call to USCIS to have permit to get forms. And How about barcode,... We would like to make sure about that.

I have a question how I can fill question 22 of I-130

22. Complete the information below if your relative is in the US and will apply for adjustment of status

Your relative is in the US and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in ............................ (which office I will fill in). I see the sample form, they fill NATIONAL BENEFIT CENTER. I do not know about that. Please tell me.

Use the forms from the USCIS website. Have no idea about a bar code. Just use whatever forms they have.

I am in Seattle but I will fill I-130 and I-485 concurrently to Chicago Lockbox

I confuse what is the USCIS office in .......................................

Anyone has experience about that

You put down the district office as that is where you'll be interviewed after the applications go through the Chicago lockbox and the National Benefits Centre in Missouri.

You mean district office in Seattle, right! Is This your choice or requirement of USCIS.

I have one more question. Before you fill I-130 and I-485 concurrently, do you need to call to district office? Or you only download forms on the USCIS website, fill and submit them!!! I am confuse about that

If Seattle is your district office, then yes, you put down Seattle. You don't need to call the district office.

You can use the forms downloaded directly from the USCIS website.
