Okay, here's yet another "my interview is next week, can you check me out" thread. :D I'd really appreciate it if you could look it over and let me know what you think, since I still have today and tomorrow and then Monday to possibly pull some more stuff together if need be. Thanks!!!!!!

USC:

*Driver's License

*Birth Certificate

*Social Security Card

CANADIAN:

*Driver's License

*Birth Certificate

*Social Security Card

*Provincial ID

*Passport ((which USCIS has and will be at the interview))

*EAD card

PAPERWORK:

*Interview Letter

*Other letters rec'd from USCIS

*2 new affidavits of support, notarised, for me and my co-sponsor

*Co-sponsor's last 3 years of taxes printed from H&R Block and copies of W2s

*Last 2 months paystubs for co-sponsor ((i have no paystubs))

*Letter from co-sponsor's employer

*Letter from husband's employer ((I know they don't count his income))

*Last 2 months of husband's paystubs

*Co-sponsor's birth certificate and certified copy of birth cert.

*Our last 3 years of taxes w/ W2s

*Photocopy of USCIS medical receipts

*copies of all money orders and post office receipts from stuff we sent to USCIS

GENUINE RELATIONSHIP:

*Marriage certificate

*Wedding album

*2 scrapbooks full of photos and mementos and cards

*Cards and letters addressed to both of us from family and friends

*a couple e-mails from my husband to me from 2002

*Letters and poetry from my husband to me from 2002 on

*Notarized letter from my psychology professor I worked v. closely with stating we are a couple

*Phone records showing phone calls placed to Canada at his # costing hundreds of dollars :)

*copy of the bus ticket from Canada to Iowa from when he came to visit me

*copy of family educational rights and privacy act release form showing i released my financial aid info to my husband

EVIDENCE OF SHARED RESIDENCE:

*Lease agreement signed by both of us on our old apartment at uni

*Notarised letter from my mother stating we live in her house now rent-free and she enjoys having us

*Credit cared denial due to no credit history addressed to my husband at our address

*letters from friends and family addressed to both of us at both our former and current address

*same house keys :lol:

EVIDENCE OF LIFE TOGETHER:

*Car insurance with both of us on it

*Bank statement from our joint account

*Debit cards from our joint account

*I guess that financial aid release could count here, too

OTHER:

*Letter from Greyhound stating they cannot refund the bus ticket Jay was going to use to return to Canada

*Fax from a doctor's office in Sask. where Jay applied to see a Dr. a few days before we left Canada

*Receipt and copy of receipt from the University of Regina showing payment of entrance fee

*Notarised letter from Jay's mum stating she expected him back in Canada where he lived at her house and that he had a job interview for when he came back. ((This letter is being overnighted, may not get here in time)).

Okay...does this seem like enough????

5/23/03: Justin arrives to visit me in IA from SK.
6/7/03: We got married!
8/23/03: Filed I-130 from SK
8/25/03: Phoned border guards & asked if J could escort me back to IA, yes.
8/26/03: Arrive in IA
8/27/03: Went to USCIS local office to ask if J could stay in the US and file papers, yes
2004: I-130 approved!
6/05: Filed AOS/EAD
7/2/05: Rec'd receipt for I-485
8/05: Rec'd RFE for Biometrics
9/9/05: Rec'd RFE for medical
12/2/06: EAD APPROVED!
12/5/06: EAD card rec'd
1/15/06: AOS interview date for 4/11/06 at 11:00 a.m.
4/11/06: APPROVED!!!!!! NO MORE USCIS FOR 10 YEARS!!! WOOHOO!!! 2016...seems more like a page # than a year. Haha.
